i-Lab practices and encourages imagination, innovation, and implementation of science and technological ideas. The research interests of the group focus on sensors and systems, flexible/wearable electronics, bioelectronics, biomedical engineering, micro-nanoelectronics, energy harvesters, reconfigurable antenna, IoT, neuromorphic devices. Apart from this, research works in the direction of microfluidics, spintronics, computation/ theory and electronic device developments are also performed.
The research works are primarily based on the interdisciplinary approach to develop affordable and/or efficient devices for healthcare, agriculture, and environmental applications. Many non-conventional techniques are being developed in the said direction and efforts are made to convert them into commercial prototypes or products.
